The BAQ-01 is Sveric's flagship sensing unit, installed along quay walls to provide continuous, real-time positional awareness of berthed vessels. Using a proprietary combination of precision sensing and patented algorithms, it delivers sub-centimeter vessel movement data in any weather and visibility conditions — feeding directly into existing port control systems with near-zero latency.

Designed to hold fast on quay boulders
The underside of the BAQ unit uses a purpose-engineered baseplate designed to grip rounded quay boulders with high holding force. Once placed, the unit is built to stay put for the full duration of a vessel call, even in exposed quay-side conditions.
This stable mechanical contact is essential for reliable vessel movement measurements: the sensor tracks the ship, not its own movement on the quay.
External batteries for longer deployments
BAQ units can be paired with external battery packs when a terminal needs longer operating windows between charging or battery swaps. The add-on power module connects directly to the unit and keeps the deployment workflow simple for quay-side teams.
That extra runtime is useful for extended vessel calls, temporary monitoring positions, and field trials where fixed power is not yet available.
